Primal Ranking
The Primal Ranking is not a universal hierarchy. These are titles that the Primals have created to label beings based on Knowledge, Power, and Influence. Due to its widespread use across The Everything, this system serves as a useful standard for power measurement.
Mortal
The standard power level of a creature. A mortal possesses none or barely any magical knowledge, and their power is only based on physical prowess or noble birth. Examples include nearly every human on Existence A Earth, as well as creatures such as Elves, Stonelin, Faunilk, and many lesser mammals.
Enhanced Mortal
A relatively strong and rare being with broad magical and physical knowledge and understanding, yet still lacks the capabilities of an Immortal being. Examples include many elvish races, sanguinasapien, dragonewt races, and even some species of human/humanoids from other worlds.
Immortal
A mortal who has gained immortality and has some understanding of magic and the universe. Often, immortality is achieved through deals with gods, being born with it, or through study. Examples include lesser dragons, beasts, and demons. Some humans/humanoids are born with immortality and live with it. Very common among elvish children, mostly from selective breeding.
Angel
Immortals that possess strong abilities (most common cases would be flight, teleportation, advanced magical spells, etc.). They are seen as pawns in the wars of the gods. Gods do not bind angels, but most are treated as such, as some mortal cultures ostracize them and try to belittle their prowess. In some universes, angels are used literally, and some are born as literal angels (humanoid figures with wings). Some angels are depicted as incomprehensible in some worlds, but their existential ranking remains the same.
Archangel
A rare and unique case for the power ranks; an Arch Being is a potent entity with a natural gift, an Arch Ability, that allows them to navigate beyond their existence and have virtually unending knowledge of their existence. This gift is either discovered at birth or “unlocked” through an unimaginably traumatic event (extinction of their existence), forced evolution substantially, and becoming powerful enough to find it on your own (only Arcus and up). This Arch Ability is unique to the user until they cease to exist in any reality or other existence. This ranking is not above or below any others and is simply used to refer to someone with such an ability.
God
A mighty class among the universal ranks that were born into their roles or grew into their power. Most gods have a special type of ability they are acquainted with, such as fire, the oceans and seas, lightning, agriculture, wine and emotions, childbirth, hunting, etc. Almost every population residing on a planet/system/galaxy has a Pantheon of Gods that can only influence their respective planet, much like a President, King, or Emperor.
Arcus
A mighty god that mortals classify as the embodiment of things like mass creation and/or destruction, or represents something that primarily affects their given universe (Death, Winter, Night, Emotion). They are bound by no pantheon unless specifically connected to one, such as the Titans of Greece.
Deity
Entities of Beginning. They are the personifications and/or boundless essence of a grand attribute to their specific existence. They are the very source of whatever they represent, such as Order, Chaos, Time, Magic, Space, Perfection, Infinity, etc.
Arch Being
A rare and unique case for the power ranks; an Arch Being is a potent entity with a natural gift, an Arch Ability, that allows them to navigate beyond their existence and have virtually unending knowledge of their existence.
